All the US forums complain that they don't get Exynos (the true Samsung chip) and therefore had worse battery life.  You always want what you can't have and don't want what you have as anyone who is married knows.

PB Tech have 'sold out' online, but stock still available via in store pre order.  Packages seem to still be available.

Yeah I tried to get the bundle from Wairau branch and was told that PB is out of stock in all branches. They seem to have a "wave two" coming on the website, wonder if that still gets the wireless headphone.

And yeah even previous generation S9 seems to be better on Snapdragon compared to Exynos including battery life tests.

Can anyone get the trade in website to work? https://www.xchangemobile.com/NZ/Samsung/

I'm trying to search trade in values but when I search nothing comes up. It was working a few days ago when I tried

It was working few days ago, now it's just stuck loading. iPhone X 256GB goes for $950 on S10+ iirc.

Exynos not looking good again, sucks that we have to pay more than people in the US and get a worse chip.

I'd be confident of never doing anything that would actually show that difference in a meaningful way!

I presume this quote (from Tech Adviser) is incorrect?

"Running on the 8nm Exynos 9820 in Europe and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 in the rest of the world"

That's incorrect. Should be SD855 North America only and Exynos rest of the world.

Since the Snapdragon processors are apparently better, I wonder why they don't just quit making worse processors at Samsung and use Snapdragon worldwide?

Maybe that puts them at the mercy of Qualcomm?

The reason why they use the Qualcomm chips in the US is due to the radio, Sprint and Verizon use a CDMA based system (which Exynos does not support).

Surely no more than using Intel processors does to dozens of computer manufacturers?

See the rumors circulating about about Apple dumping Intel

It probably also doesn't help that Qualcomm has shown to be pretty vicious about its patents, thus why Samsung has to use Qualcomm in NA.

And the dumpster fire that was the 808/810 series Snapdragons, shows that Qualcomm isn't always producing home-runs. The more things Samsung builds in house, the more control they have over the entire eco-system and the less they have to be dependent on the Qualcomm supply train and their pricing.

And I would also dispute better, as there are a few things the Exynos processors do better than Snapdragon.

As i said earlier, the Americans are always complaining that they don't get Exynos because is better with better battery life. That may not be true for the current generation but it had been true in the past.
