Tests showed up for a few minutes on Thursday, but went live on Friday.

All 3 multiplexes are active advertising a total of 12 channels.

I'm capturing most of my tests over on the NZ DTV Forum at http://www.dtvforum.co.nz/forum/showthread.php?t=137.

should a UHF amplifer/splitter cause any problems? I can't seem to get a signal using my dvico FusionHDTV PCI card. Prime  pic is clear with very miminal ghosting.

I'm using some USB tuners at present. I have a freecom and a Hauppauge HVR 900.

Signal strength appears to be quite low at the moment, I'm reasonably close to Waiatarua.

Also make sure your signal is off there and not a local repeater.

Same issue as mcraenz here. Using a HVR4000 and GB PVR. No signal strength even though I get UHF Prime no problems on analog tuned to 775.3125MHz (Waiatarua).

Ok well I re-installed my drivers and it's now scanning in 9 channels :-) What are the specs of the "C4" and "TV3" loops? I can play C4 fine but TV3 is very choppy.

I've also got Reserved 1KSD - Reserved 6KSD
and Reserved 1KHD

Out the 12 you got Steve what am I missing and from which mux?

  • TVONE
  • TV2
  • TVNZ 6
  • TVNZ 7
  • TVNZ SPORTS EXTRA
MediaWorks Mux
  • TV3
  • C4
Kordia Mux
  • Reserved 1KSD
  • Reserved 2KSD
  • Reserved 3KSD
  • Reserved 4KSD
  • Reserved 5KSD

Ok I might start there as well.  Suspect it's the old hybrid card issue for me (given I'm utilising DVB-S as well).

Two of the multiplexes appear to be down at the moment, and on 666000000 I can get a signal but no channel scan.

Can anyone else confirm this?

I can see all 3 multiplexes again, they came back on about 1:30 ish. Got nothing showing up on a channel scan though.

Ok Tuned and I've now got playback.

Needed to do a reboot as I have a feeling the DVB-T stick was a bit confused and failing to tune.

Anyhow I've got 3 different streams off the TVNZ multiplex - 2 x 1080i and 1 x 576i

The Kordia multiplex is now advertising real channels and two radio stations.

I'll try and pull some streams off MedaWorks and Kordia multiplexes tonight.
