I have an iMac running OSX 10.3 and Office Mac 2004, I created a new profile and XTRA Domain mail email account in Entourage jemma@domain.co.nz.

When I press send and receive and I can receive emails but not send, Entourage put's the email into the sent items box but none of the emails have been received.

I switch to my profile dominic@domain.co.nz and Entourage sends/receives without error, I have used all the same email settings from my profile in the new profile.

I have also tested the webmail for the new XTRA Domain mail email account (jemma@domain.co.nz) and can receive and send emails without error which I assume means that the problem is with Entourage or the new profile I made.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Any advice or assistance is much appreciated.

Does Entourage actually pop up an error?

Can you send email dominic to jemma and vice versa?

No error in Entourage, it even puts the email into the sent items box even thou it never arrives at the destination.
I can send an email from dominic to jemma successfully but when I send an email from jemma to dominic it does not receive the email. The webmail for jemma will send and receive emails.

Thanks for your time.

Are you using the Xtra smtp server to send an e-mail with an address that is your domain name?

If this is the case, have you "authenticated" this address with th Xtra server?

Read more here and see if this is the case.
