MileHighKiwi: It's all live and on demand. Just put the cricket on and to go back in time to the previous show you just slide the bar back. Maybe a 'watch from start' button would be better but it was really smooth to go backwards and forwards.

They've done a good job.

You are doing that on a browser right? Or on a phone? Not on an Apple TV? You can’t do that on the Apple TV app as far as I know.

I have checked the apps on my iPhone and iPad and I can scrub back in the past on live channels or play something from the TV guide that is less than 24 hours in the past but these options are not available on the Apple TV app. I wonder if there is any intention to update the Apple TV app to do this?

Would love to test it myself for a week but I’m out of the country at the moment for a few weeks.

Based on some of the feedback, I think I'm going to give a week a try, and make a judgement from there. I've been surviving off of SkyGo whilst I've been away from home, and it's driving me nuts with jerky playback, pausing and general terrible quality when on a larger screen. Sky Sport Now seems like it'll solve my issues there, plus I'll be able to get rid of the STB if the experience is good. All Blacks test on Saturday should be a good game to test on for myself.

SheriffNZ: What definition will the streaming option be? And compared to the current stb?

Fellow Cule fan!

I’m looking at this now as their new La Liga campaign starts this weekend.
I ended my Bein Connect a while ago.

Watching the cricket (and some motorsports and football) on ATV4 and its literally a live stream of the channel. I cant pause or rewind, or 'start from the beginning', which is really annoying, BUT, the picture is excellent, much better then Sparks downgraded app.

Hopefully they are working on a fix, especially for a rugby test or other big occasion. I often start games late because we are getting the kids to bed. I guess I can catch up on my phone and switch to the big screen, not ideal though.

On the home screen it has the channel numbers but doesn't display what's on, not so bad if you remember all 12 channels, but would be helpful for most.

So not a perfect experience, but great picture and good value for me at $40, and I'm sure it will get better.

Not sure it will get better as it is the old fanpass app with more channels rebadged. For program info go to watch live and then down to the guide and you can scroll across. If you want to watch later you can airplay from your phone. Not perfect but at least you can watch delayed.

Does Sky Sport Now have access to Watch ESPN? By the looks of it only Sky Go customers have access to it.

There was a ESPN and ESPN2 button on the IOS app in amongst all the Sky Sport channels.

Maybe it will get better, now that they've bought RugbyPass.com.  Hopefully they lift functionality like 'Start from Beginning', out of there.
