Lightbox should seriously consider a free version where they put in adverts every 10min

Demographics can be easy determined by lightbox user and show the user is watching

Be death for tv broadcasters

attewell: I suppose with adverts.. it allows you to get mass penetration of light box to more of NZ...

Also.. for advertisers.. they can rat get demographics of people that watch say Mad Men, regardless of the time of day they watch it..
So where as your restricted to 8pm or later for adult adverts.. you could target adverts for mad men, as the audience is normally adult..

Same for Childrens programs.. you can target regardless of time.. but to content being watched

if you are only advertising to people who are too tight to pay a measly $15/month,  then those people aren't going to be spending a lot of money on whatever it is you are advertising anyway  :P
