Force updated a couple of weeks ago - but the last week, noticed that some recordings have sound issues, the sound gets so low you can hardly hear what they are saying.  Have reset box, and issue still there on the recorded show.

Happening on recordings pre update and recordings recent ie Sharnara chronicles on The Zone.  It is not pinpointed to a particular channel.  House Rules on TV3 sounds has been perfectly fine.

Do not get this issue when watching live TV.  So I am ruling out cable/connections.

Mysky is hooked to my Pioneer receiver via optical.

It is not the receiver or speakers as streaming stuff over the internet via my computer that is plugged in works perfectly fine.

I also constantly have the internet connection drop off (I posted about this a while back and the fix was to turn off the wifi box and then on again).

Anyone else having this issue?

I have the answer.

In the new update, the idiot who wrote the software has locked optical output volume to the MySky "volume" button.

If you increase your mysky box VOLUME the optical output will increase its volume.
