Hi - I have two sky decoders (one at my house and the other at a holiday home) I used to be able to use the sky card in both decoders without any problems.
However I now experience rain fade with the older decoder (both are motorola) I phoned sky and they said my dish may be out of alignment.  However I brought the other decoder over to my holiday home and its works perfectly.
So it must be a setting in the older decoder - has there been a software upgrade or something.
I checked both settings (ie satelite and LNB setup) and both decoders are the same
Any ideas?
Help!!
Thanks

go into advanced settings and make sure only one of the STB's are powering the LNB.

If you're still getting the rain fade message, try setting the other decoder to power the LNB.

that rain fade message is very ambigous.
