I had MySky installed two days ago and its great...until today, all of a sudden TV3 has NO sound at all and the volume and mute control on the MySky remote does not have any effect. The symbol comes up on the screen and the volume gauge goes from left to right as it should, but this does not have any effect on the actual volume level. It all worked fine yesterday, if I change to TV 3 (through the UHF aerial that is) its fine (but the picture is rubbish of course) any ideas anyone? Also if I push the reset button inside the front flipdown cover, what will require resetting afterwards, there is nothing in the manual about this?

the red button just does a MySky box reset. As long as you're not in the middle of recording something, it won't do any harm.

i believe you or someone else has changed an audio setting in the audio and picture settings menu under "HDMI DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT" its by default set to MPEG / PCM try change it to that and see if it works.

Yes thanks I spoke to a nice lady at Sky this morning and the setting had indeed been changed from MPEG/PCM to DOLBY and this was the problem, I have changed it back to MPEG/PCM and its all good again, strange how it would stop the remote from altering the volume or muting the audio, thanks to all for their help,
