I couldn't see this mentioned in this forum but this morning I saw a channel called Te Reo on 59 (if I remember correctly). Is this something new and unannounced or did I miss something?

Te Reo has been around for ages (possibly even a year or two) so I find it a bit hard to believe you've missed it :)

It's also run by Maori Television.

Te Reo has been on SKY since March or April 2008.

the main use for it for us non-Reo speakers were they showed the NZ Breakers games live (albeit with Maori commentary)
