I need to configure my silver mySky decoder to turn on the 9v signal on it's RF2 output.

I understand this is supported by the decoder, but it's not one of the options on the standard setup/configuration menus.

Previous posts have included information about how to use the 'installer menu' to enable this option to support TVLink, but I've tried the suggested codes without success. I just can't get to see the required options.

Interestingly, there hasn't been any discussion  about TVLink on this forum (that i could find) for several years - I suspect thats due to TVLink using the RF connector and the consequently 'average' picture quality, but I have a situation where it suits.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks!

BTW - I'm in NZ (despite the US flag!?)

Well - In the end, the solution was a lot simpler than I thought. I just rang the sky support line, and they happily gave me the code and technique to get into the installer menu (I needed to call back and talk to the tech team, as the after hours support crew didn't have the information, but no problem).

I've now configured the Sky Output (RF2), installed the Loftbox and Magic Eye infa red remote recievers, and am piping sky all around the house.

Actually, I'm suprised this setup isn't more common in NZ (as it is in the UK). I know a multitude of houses that have their SKY box in the lounge, with an RF cable out the back to a TV in the bedroom. Most people make do without any way to control the SKY box - why not use a TVLink Magic Eye? Hard to find a simpler solution.

Very happy with the setup.
