Yesterday I bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from Playtech. It's advertised as "official NZ stock".

I get it home and turn it on and it's the Spark version (Spark boot logo, Spark app, Y!TWorld app).

I'm a Vodafone customer I don't want this Spark crap on my phone.

I'm not a rooter I'm a launcher and icon pack kind of guy.

Do I have a right to return this phone to them and ask for a refund?

Sounds like it's meets the advertised description to me. Wouldn't think they would have to accept it back. They might though

I took up sdavisnz's suggestion to take it to him. He is a legend and flashed it with the Vodafone firmware which has ended up improving the phone's performance anyway (signal strength at home is much better compared to what it was with the stock Spark firmware).

Sorry my initial question and dislike of customisation got so many people riled up! tongue-out
