Most USB IrDa Serial adaptors that appear under W2K and XP will show in the Nokia Connection Manager. Make sure you have the phone Infrared activated on the phone and in the line of sight with irDA adaptor, Windows will confirm connection in the system tray.
Go into Nokia Connection Manager, click the InfraRed icon and the phone should appear correctly.
YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT VERSION OF NOKIA PC SUITE FOR YOUR PHONE AS THEY ARE PHONE SPECIFIC.
Configure the properties of the Nokia PC Sync tool if you want Outlook sync'ing.
