I had the same problem but I couldnt even save it to wallpapers, all I could do was view it. The only solution, at this stage is to buy a data cable or infrared adaptor. I bought a seriel IrDA adaptor from Dick Smith and it works a treat. The USB one is more expensive and the Seriel one works fine anyway. Thats the best way to go I reckon. This way you can transfer as many pics to the phone as you want without paying TCOM 5c a Kb! And you can transfer ringtones, games, calendar stuff etc too + change and backup your phone book. Check out http://www.imserba.com (I think it's down at the moment tho) - this site has heaps of free 128x128 pics as well as heaps of free games and poly ringtones. If you download games or applications make sure they are 'series 40'. Nokia Data Suite takes care of getting everything from your computer to your phone. Check out the 6585 thread for a link.

The problem is the all downloaded content for Nokia CDMA handset need a file descriptor, which tells the handset what to do with the file. It is a bug in the handset that you can see picture and are allowed to save it, but the handset does not know what to do with it. So it will work on Telecoms content ok, the spec that is used for this is Called OMA wrapper. and the file extension is a .dd file . P.S Telecom has no plans on releasing MMS software for this handset
