I recently purchased this phone, and im having huge issues with the software (USB drivers etc) when loading them and connecting the phone to my pc
After the drivers have installed, when the pc shuts down to save the new settings, it takes an hour and then doesnt shutdown, just stays on the windows screen saying "saving your settings"
Has anybody else had problems like this or know where i can solve this issue. ITs ruining a so far excellent relationship with the W8500.
Thnaks

This is most likely a program that is not closing down properly, or waiting for some input from you - perhaps uninstall the drivers and test again or restore the PC to a previous Restore Point to test?

The computer was fine up until i installed the drivers needed for the phone to communicate with the computer.
I restored to an earlier point (2 weeks ago), reinstalled the drivers and again the computer hangs when the phone connects, or once the phone is disconnected form the computer the computer remains locked up, programs that are running in the background appear to freeze, yet i can open up new ones using keyboard shortcuts.

About to leave email for sony support, as up untilnow i had no issues, then their software crashes my pc. not impressed at all, its totally marrred my opinion of the product.
