Ok, without being too specific, we have various images, which need to be sent to various (public owned) mobile phones by way of MMS. The actual sending of the MMS is the easy bit, that's like 5 minutes work.

But it seems that there is no one-standard in terms of image size that can be enclosed in the MMS. Is anybody aware of a database which for a given mobile phone model can provide the maximum file size/resolution of an MMS image? Pay or free, doesn't matter.

I'd be interested to know how you intend on sending the MMS messages to both the New Zealand networks.

Adobe CS3 an application built in called Adobe Device Central. Gives you the info you are looking for above as well as video, flash, etc etc resolutions/types. Updates as new models come on the scene. Used in conjunction with Adobe Flash and Photoshop, quite a powerful tool.

Never ask what sort of computer a guy drives. If he's a Mac user, he'll tell you. If not, why embarrass him?

Thats cool about the composition of the messages but how do you intend on getting the messages on the handsets i.e. what delivery mechanism will you use ?
