Can you claim a repair on a rooted 23 month old Galaxy S5 with a stuffed screen (so hardware problem) under the CGA? Been knocked back under warranty.

If the screen is faulty that's highly unlikely to be anything to do with the fact the phone has been rooted. If it went as far as the Disputes Tribunal you would almost certainly win.

If it's clearly and obviously a hardware problem to someone who's not an expert in phones, rather than a software problem, then probably.

Best thing to do is just unroot your phone and when you get it back root it again
