we are doing a project..........we need to know whether a cell has the information about the cell phone's signal strength (numerical value) when the cell phone is in its area............ its very urgent............

.........i wud be greatly obliged if someone of u tells me this

As JohnR posted, many phones will give you this information.
I know that many SonyEricsson's (especially the T68 T610 T630 and Z600) have an option to do this, but you need to connect the phone up to a service cable to enable this "hidden" menu.
I've done this with my phone, but then I can't really understand the numbers it's giving me (but I'm no GSM tech)




Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.
