First time on here. Go the geeks.

I have just purchased a Harrier, on the Telecom NZ CDMA network, and although I'm very impressed I have discovered, through reading articles on this site, that this beast doubles as a GPRS machine. Does anyone know if it is possible to switch networks (in NZ) from Telecom to Vodafone by simply inserting a SIM card ??

Welcome to the board!

Nope, this is not possible. The Harrier is CDMA only, while the Blue Angel is the GPRS version - using the same case, keyboard, etc. The Blue Angel comes with Wireless LAN, but not flash.

Bummer, it would be good to have the freedom to go both ways but I guess thats some time in the future. Thanks for the quick response. Good to know there's informed people out there.
