What does everyone think about SMS spoofing? (if you don't know what is is its the ability to be anonymous when sending an sms or pretent to be somone you are not)

Absolutely bad idea. It opens up the mobile network to all sorts of incoveniences like pranks and unsolicited junk promotions. Not to talk about security.

Yes you are right it does open up teh network to all sort of abuse - but liek email spoofing it here and people will use it to be naughty like pretending to be someone tehy are not (umm lots of potiential in the workplace) or for sending Spam.

Personally I thonk its a massive loop hole!
