Hi

Does anyone know where I can get my UK mobile phone chipped in Wellington so I can use it here - i've been into Vodafone and they can't help.

Thanks :)

What do you mean by 'chipped'?

Do you mean your phone is SIM locked to a UK network and you want to use a Vodafone NZ SIM card in it? Providing your phone isn't still under contract to a UK provider you will be able to get the unlock code from them.

Mobile phones are cheap in the UK because companies lock them. If you are under contract you can pay a fee to receive the unlocked code from the operator.

If you have finished your contract then you should have received this code - but some operators are slow, so contact them and ask for the code.
