Hi,
i purchased a 1GB MS pro duo, and just wanted to test whether it is a genuine sony or fake one... how do i go about testing the transfer speed? the genuine one will reach 80mbps.. while the fake one wont..

I have a Sony V800 phone with USB datacable at my disposal.. is there a way I can test it? thanks.

Where did you buy the card from?
What are you doing with your phone that high transfer speed is essential?
Apparently Sandisk branded cards are faster than genuine Sony branded ones (I havent got proof of that, but it seems to be popular opinion, and im sure there are test results somewhere)
