I apologise if this is a duplicate,

can anyone recommend a SMS backup utility (like jeyo mobile companion, but not the jeyo one) that will allow me to download all sms' to the pc,

and ideally create a report,

or at least export all messages to xml or CSV?

thanks.

jeyo works ok, but it cant handle the volume of messages, its caused corruption of texts before, which meant the phone a/ways had a 0kb message that could not be deleted, and would cause any text managing program to crash.

i need something that can dump it all into a pocket access or pocket sql, or pocket sybase db. ideally,

as there is around 55,000 text messages.

Are these 55,000 messages on the device itself? How long does it take to load the Inbox when you first start it after a soft reset?

I am looking for something with friends and will come back later.

I know someone who's got some code to dump the data into a XML file. He says if you are a coder you can change the format as you wish. Wanna give it a try?
