Hi,

There's a very popular free SMS sender, VisualGSM Lite. The company also provides an Enterprise edition for interactive messaging.

You can download the software from SMS Gateway, SMS Server, SMS Software by Visualtron Software. or

http://www.sms-gateway-software.com.

Let me know if you have any comments.

Thanks.

Joshua

The software is a free download, but the service is not.

For instance in their page about the VisualGSM Lite server software:

"Simply by attaching your mobile phone to your PC with a Phone-to-PC data cable. And with the VisualGSM SMS Broadcast Server Lite edition, you are able to send SMS from your desktop.

To SMS-enable your website, follow the above mentioned steps. With the Broadcast Server installed on your web server, visitors to your web site would be able to send SMS messages to other mobile subscribers through your website via your mobile phone and at your expense. But with so many free SMS given by some telecommunication operators, this would be just a little price to pay as compared to what you will be getting in added benefits!".

VisualGSM Lite only provides a computer interface to a GSM modem/mobile phone. You will still need to pay SMS charges to your mobile carrier.

A great tool for sending/recieving messages, making calls and syncing your T610/T68i is Float's Mobile Agent. It's free and works very well.

You'll need a PC running Windows and some form of connection (be it bluetooth, IR or cable)

[As above, you still have to pay to send messages!]

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!

ICQ sends SMS messages to cellphones fairly reliably.

I see that the software supports your T610, but this software supports over 120 models and is open source, the way things should be :}

I use it, and it eases my workload.

Found another software developer that is better... can download the demo for trial. A SMS Software most people useit for SMS / Mobile marketing use. You can group sms or auto set the SMS to be sent at specified schedules and time... such as for Happy birthday greetings or appointment reminders for customers... etc...

This software quires the iTegno modem. Here in New Zealand it's marketed as Dynalink GPRS Mobile modem. We posted a review of the iTegno before.

As for VisualGSM Lite, Are the only costs you incur be the bill u get from your carrier to send and receive SMS?
If this is the case I have unlimited SMS to and from my phone from Sprint PCS and this would be a totally free device for me?
Is this what you are saying about the Lite version?
If so can u send multiple messages to others also. Very curious as to the actual usage of this software. Can any one that has used this software please be more detailed in the specifics of it?
