I have resigned to changing out the drive on my 2tb tivo (That was stuck on 11.3b6-xxxx )and starting from scratch with a new drive image. Applied patch. Full delete and reset, Guided set up, Loaded all program info.

But..... the clock is 1 hour behind.

I assume this is consistent with everyone else?

No point in setting any recordings in this configuration.

Hopefully there is a resolve soon.

Possibly non applied daylight savings?

Maybe a small oversight?

As mentioned some time back, the OzTivo server normally won't hand out data to your specific Tivo again, if it's already retrieved it. The TSN is logged each time. My experience has been that a Clear and Delete of Everything, then a guided setup against the new OzTivo mothership will resolve your problem, but don't do it if you have the HNP, as you'll lose it.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz

ok thanks Spong, I'll try a clear and delete of everything then a guided setup, I'm not using HNP so its ok.

Great news that others were successful with TiVo prom changing..
Not I.
Got the chip out of my test/sacrificial TiVo this afternoon, but my dexterity and vision were both limiting factors to putting the socket back in place.
Those corner pins are VERY small.
trying to reposition the socket after a failed attempt lifted a track and it was all over rover.
The PSU has already been harvested from that TiVo to repair another one and I will store its HDD.
Got a few proms and sockets going for any wellington local repairer With a better track record, no way I am going to operate on my own one.

Wasn't the movie called Watership Down?

The official mothership is supposedly turning off today, but if your Tivo has been modded, it should be automatically connecting via Dialcode 140 to the OzTivo mothership. Are you sure your network connection is good?

Ok, just did a clear and delete and a guided setup. All went through np.

Now I have a full guide. I have never used HNP anyway and the original image on the drive was from a full clear and delete anyway..

the whole guide is also 1 hr out but programs are playing at the right time.

Is there anyway to turn daylight saving on ?

I must be missing something, but has the concept of putting a redirect into the home router that intercepts requests from a stock standard TiVo that are heading toward the nz mothership and sending them instead to the new Aussie one been considered?
Can domestic routers even do that?

I’ve ordered electrical glue from eBay at only 2 dollars for couple of mills

It’s used for pcb repairs to create new tracks so I’m going to try on mine as I also broke off a tab.

So I wouldn’t loose hope just yet.

The traffic was encrypted. That’s why the mod was required.

I'll try asking in the Slack groups and see what they say.
