Has anyone successfully enabled the 30 sec skip function on the modded Tivo?

I have tried this;
1 Start playing any recording.

2 During playback press:

Select - Play - Select - 3 - 0 - Select

But with no success

Sorted! Didnt realise it was actually working :p

That's not how it works.  Press the ->|  button below the fast forward button.   Each press is 30 second  skip.

On my TiVo I just press the button 25 Advance and it does the 30 second skip. No need to press the 24 FWD button as well.

And that's how its supposed to work since the OzTivo mod. This was always the intended use of this key, until NZ/Aust advertisers successfully campaigned to remove this easy "ad-skipper" when Tivo was released in our markets.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 300 performed here so far. See:

The other thing is that when you set the TiVo up to NZ it disables HD over component but when set to AU HD is played to the component ports. This was tested by the OzTivo group.
