Hi 👋 all because my wife is pretty deaf subs are great. But I don't know if this little problem is fixable.
Ok 👌 what happens is that there are remnants of previous subs shown on different random parts of screen. This happens live tv 📺 and recorded stuff.
It's really a nuisance thing..

Any ideas anyone. Thanx. Phil

I think this only happens on TVNZ channels.

I have never experienced that. I use subtitles on both DVB-T and DVB-S. I don't have any Freeview or Freeview+ stuff. For our FTA I just use an external Mecool box that receives both satellite and terrestrial. I suspect your issue has to do with the Freeview receiver you are using, whether that is external or built-in.

I have no experience of that but logic tells me that if it happens on one device but not on another, then the problem is likely with the device. Do you have another way of receiving FTA just to experiment with? For example, does your TV have a built-in receiver that you can use, or can you borrow an Android box from someone just to see what happens? I have a feeling that your Tivo is the problem but can't say for certain.
