Hey,

So I was filming a movie for my uni course today and it was with a sony handcam that records onto small dvds, think they are 8cm ones? So I formatted the disc before I started recording and I have finished recording now and I finalize the disc. I put the disc into my laptop and then started transfering the VIDEO_TS folder, I get to about 25% and then it just stops transfering files and makes the estimated completion time start going up till it gets  to about 50 minutes and then says "error 0x8007045D" So I try playing it straight off the disc and it plays the rest few scenes perfectly then it starts to buff up and down between numbers and skips through scenes after playing about the first few seconds, if I seek and click half way through the film it just freezes (VLC media player im using)

So I try watching it directly on the camcorder and it plays fine no errors or anything!

So I move onto another computer and get it to completely transfer on to the pc but still has the same playback errors.

Im at wits end with it and really need some help, I can only borrow the camera one more day and need this footage badly.

It is also the first time I have used one of these camcorders which save straight onto small dvds, I have only used the ones with the small tapes, which I had no problems with.

Please any help would be taken greatfully!

Oh ask me anything if you need more info on this.

Thanks!
