We run a web business out of our house but local customers love to take a browse at what we have. We really are not set up for this and can have a group of people with only one of us there to watch things. Or at times have to leave the room. Whats the best bet in this price range. To cover pretty much the whole garage and in between shelving I need at least 3 cameras.
I guess its only needs to be on while people are there so just hooked up to a computer in the house might save a bit? Security cameras are a strange thing to look up. Finding information especially in what you get for your money and whether spending a little more is justified seems hard.

Give the guys at Viewtech a call (http://www.viewtech.co.nz/) 0800888324

I have used their gear before and been very impressed with the quality and value comparative to some of the larger CCTV suppliers.

If its just for deterrent, then get some totally cheap junk ones off ebay and a 4 port card - can probably do it for under a hundred if you are ok doing the wire ghetto styles with soldering cat5.

Paying heaps for an analog camera is stupid IMO, since the IP ones are starting to get really good and quite cheap, and that means no capture card, no composite video artifacts etc.
