My partner installed GC on the laptop the other day. Now something called Norton Confidential keeps hanging and rendering GC unusable. Anyone else had this problem?

Open Chrome, click the menu button on the right side, select Tools | Extensions and disable it there.

Thanks, that worked.

Another question for ya. Google Chrome browser likes to underline certain words so that if you hover your mouse pointer over them, an advert pops up. Is there a way to switch that off?

That's not the browser. That's the website that runs this.
