I have an HP x2 convertible (tablet with removable keyboard style) that I've never really used. The kids both have Chromebooks, which I've been super impressed with, and so looking at giving the HP a new lease of life and play with something new. Has anyone had any luck installing either Android (via Jide RemixOS) or Chrome OS / Chromium OS on a Windows tablet? What's the easier (less likely to be frustrating) install route?

I don't care if I brick it or remove Windows. It's only an Atom processor w 2GB of RAM, so I'm not expecting miracles.

Neither are Chrome or Android.
They are 3rd party near equivalents .

Ive installed Neverware Cloudready on a laptop (Chrome equivalent), installed without a hitch (from memory) . Tried it then never used it again .
