Hi.

I am the creator of 360Degrees.  We provide 3D scanning services utilizing photogrammetry.  We utilize a 24Megapixel camera to take many images of an object and create a 3D model from those images.
Those models can then be edited, replicated, 3D Printed or embedded into your website.  Currently working with a 3D printing company in the Bay of Plenty scanning objects for their customers.

The difference with utilizing Photogrammetry over a 3D hand held scanner is I can scan objects from small to very large all using the same process.  I have 4 years experience.  All started with 3D Babies.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/parenting/93603705/homemade-baby-scanner-gives-3d-image

Sadly didn't take off but I learn't so much.

I'm looking to get in contact with 3D printing companies who need a scanning company that creates excellent detailed models.  If you would like a reference, I'm happy to get you in contact with the 3D printing company I'm currently in partnership with.

Also looking to talk with any other companies that would like to display their products in a unique and different way on their website.   Also happy to scan historical artifacts for museums / collections.

This would also be good for auction houses willing to display rare items for their patrons that they can move around and zoom in on before bidding.

Feel free to look at my portfolio at www.sketchfab.com/360degrees.

Any other queries please contact me.

Kind Regards

Calvin

Best of luck with this. Love your work!

Thanks Guys.

Not sure why we are all focusing on that pizza?  It was still quite tasty tho.  That was a very early scan and didn't focus on the underside.

Kind Regards

In regards to the quarry.

I didn't take the images as i have never been to Switzerland.  I grabbed the images off a website which had some samples.  I do have a drone and can capture with the help of a surveyor to do GCP's Images.

I did process the images and gcp's to create this image tho.

As to the castles.  I ripped 4k video off youtube, converted to images and processed to create the 3D Models.

I am currently in talks with a council to create A VR environment for an area which is not safe to access and scan a prominent sculpture that will be available to 3d print.

Kind Regards

And with that, I am going to propose Murfy's Law:

On any Geekzone thread mentioning pizza, the probability of someone mentioning pineapple is proportional to the number of mods involved.
