So I have a internal hard drive that I'm trying to turn into an external hard drive.

Its a Seagate hard drive:

I purchased a 2.5" sata external case but the ports don't match up with my hard drive so I can't plug it in. This is my first time trying this and I don't really know all the technical terms so I am pretty confused!

Please help!

it looks like the hard drive you have has some kind of adapter on it you may need to remove this.
