Hi guys,

This morning out of nowere I have managed to lock myself from bathroom.

Seems like I should have twisted it fully, and because I didnt , It just stayed locked and now its locked , and i cant enter it.

Lock is here [ https://postimg.org/image/eguekttlx/ ]

Can someone pls give ideas how to solve this.

I tried inserting a butter knife on the slot and turning it, but nothing seemed to happen.

Or if anyone has the right tool in Auckland, I can borrow from you and return within an hour .

Please help

Thanks,

Given the apparent orientation of the door, the hinges should be accessible from your side of the door. Take it off the hinges if a simple flathead/knife won't turn it.

Success update :

I kept fiddling with the butter knife .

I entered the lock from the top slot, it didnt work.

I then started entering from the face side, and started rotating it from all angles, eventually it opened.

The lock mechanism wasnt working now.

Twisted back n forth for a while, all working now.

Thanks heaps guys.
