I'm looking for a new stacked washer & dryer set as my house (1970s) only has a small laundry room with wooden floor. Does anyone have any experience on running a stacked washer/dryer on a wooden floor? I have a Bosch front load washer (not stackable) which is working fine but needs a new dryer so looking for replacing a whole stacked set, but a bit concern whether the wooden floor is capable of holding such weight and vibration. Thanks!

As long as there are floor joists under where they will be stacked , then it should be no problem,

If you've got a pile nearby even better

Might need a reccky under the house to have a look
