Hello,

We are getting new carpet shortly and would like to remove a number aerial cables that are not used (we don’t use the sky dish or the aerial)

The cables are extremely long, and haphazard (was like this when we moved in)

Can we cut the cables internally and fill the holes, and then deal with the remaining external cabling at a later date? (Much bigger job, as two storey house)

IANA HT installer but I’d say you could proceed exactly as set out in your final paragraph. Passive cables so no danger - so long as you’re sure that’s what they are.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
