Morning all!

Can anyone recommend a cat door installation company in Auckland / Manukau City?

I can confirm tonight if you want, but I think this chap put ours in and did a great job of it. We just went for a fairly simple\cheap one, though it looks like he offers all kinds:

Thanks for the reply. Was having a look at their website previously but didn't see any images of their products which is annoying. Don't like buying things i cant see.
Will give him a call.

There's an App for that - just saw this on Cult of Mac:

The Back door catdoor man. Installed our microchip-reading cat door. Very happy. And the product is great. Batteries last about 2 years.

Double glazing has to be made with the cat door hole in it.

Aren't they simple to install yourself? Didn't realise that companies specialised in it.

I'm fairly handy but after seeing the guy do it I'm glad I got him in. Especially seeing as the glass is corrugated.

The install is easy. It's the cutting the prefect round hole in the glass that's not so easy. I'm sure with the correct tool you might get it right on your second it third go. But by the time you buy the tool and find/buy some glass to practice on you might as well have got the guy. (I hardly ever take that attitude though!)
