Can anyone recommend a reliable (does a proper and good job) and reasonably priced gutter cleaner in Dunedin?

Got a 2 storey house don't even have a ladder high enough if i could risk the big fall!

(when it rains the water comes out of the gutter rather than down the drain ... hnmmm)

I'm waiting until I get an tv antenna installer to attach weather station sensor to the roof and ask if he can wash out the gutter with a hose at the same time.

I assume they will have the necessary ladders and safety gear. The blocked gutter is on the side of the house with a two story drop to concrete....which is why I think previous owners didn't clear them.

Health and Safety rules for working at height have gotten much more severe in recent years, Sky Installers will not install on a 2 story roof, and a one story roof requires boatloads of checks and PPE + they cannot go within two meters of an edge...

There is no way a TV installer will wash out your gutters, you will likely need to either get some Scaf, or a scissor/boom lift.

I need that too. Check the local rag for handyman ads. Try calling a gutter supplier or a roofer. Trades ads would be cheaper than XYZ Ltd ads. I get flyers for cleaning gutters, will call soon

mmm

I suppose it might come down to whats the definition of a two house.

We are on a sloping section with the living space on one level. Don't have stairs either.

On the uphill side of the house there is the usual ?3 meters to the roof then if you climb over the peak of the roof down the other side its one story plus a bit of under the house (which is another maybe 2 meters).

Either way the primary thing will be the weather station sensor and I'll ask about the height.

But as the roof already has two older arrials on the two story drop side of the house, someone must have been relaxed about it in the past. ;-)
