I have domestic gas supplied by two 45kg LPG cylinder attached to side of the house next to my driveway.

I am thinking about getting a 16A Caravan power point for my car.

So my question is what are the rules about how far away would the power point have to be from the two cylinders?

I would rather not get an electrician to come out take a 30s look and it cant be done at all.

Thanks for the link, the 3m cone centred on the cylinder sounds like the answer. ie more than 1.5m horizontally from the cylinder.

Bumped into a electrician at work after I posted who looked it up and said that's what the red book says.

Also that it would be the same for larger current plug too.
