Sometimes it's hard to know where to post things. I will start here.

I just bought a second 9kg gas bottle for my portable heater. Now I need a clip-on POL adapter to go with it. I have been searching on-line and they are almost impossible to find. That surprises me, because every portable gas heater I have ever seen in this country has one. Have they been made illegal here, like so many other truly useful things?

Anyway, I would like to buy one if anyone has a spare or knows where I can find one. I don't need a whole regulator, since that is already on the heater hose, just the adapter to screw into the bottle. It looks something like this (the bit coming out to the left):

Clip on was never that popular so most cylinders are using the QCC connection. There are issues about putting those adapters into QCC valves so t think they're not allowed now. There was a good lot of info on the energy safety website about adapters and the legit combinations when I last had to find it out.

Thanks I'll take a look there. For anyone else watching I'm still in the market for one of these.

I have one of those regulators running a flued gas heater at a friends house. I only installed it last weekend and I will swap out that regulator when the 45kg bottles arrive. You can have the adaptor if you don't mind waiting a bit for it.

That is fantastic! No, I don't mind waiting and I'm happy to pay for it. Let me know how much. Geekzone is so brilliant for this kind of thing!
