Does anyone have a recommendation for a gib stopper in Auckland Mt Roskill way.  Of the three I know one has late stage cancer (painters and stoppers are not a long lived profession), one does a very average job and one is booked out for months.

It is only a small job, one room 4.35m by 2.75m by 2.4 high with a squared stopped ceiling, fresh gib.

Cheers

You could try contacting Gib directly as to who they recommend in your area. Often though, they maybe tied up with building companies work.

The problem is that there is a lack of builders are present, so it may not be that easy. It may however be a good weekend perk job for one of them.

Our guy just finished up, and did a nice job. But forget about him being available - he was already working two jobs at once when at our place - a commercial premises outside business hours and our place during the day. It's madness at the moment.
