Can anyone in Wellington recommend a company for House Rebuild Valuations?

I've been meaning to get it done for over a year now and and with the insurance up for renewal and with over 40 meters of extensive retaining walls I want to make sure it is done properly.

I've done some Googling but its hard to tell what you'll get. And as they don't need to be registered or certified I thought I would ask the community for any recommendations.

Cheers.

@Byrned I'm thinking about some retaining walls to level out the front of our section. If I may ask: how high were yours, and how much to get them built? Are they straight forward treated pine piles backed by boards? How did that project go?

I think I'd need a bit less - maybe 30m, and would plan the walls to be max 1.5m.

Upto 4m tall in places down to about 1m in others.

It was all done as part of the house build and not by us but I think the council file said something like $200k of earthworks went into the property.

Yep gets really expensive over 1.5m - not just the build but also the engineers and paperwork. Key requirement for us is <= 1.5m and not building anything on top of it so no need for engineers, council permits etc. I'm guessing it's about $450/m built.
