I've been using websites like homes.co.nz and qv.co.nz which is now called propertyvalue.co.nz
Before when it was called qv.co.nz it used to say if the property was freehold or leasehold not anymore since they changed the website.

Is there anymore websites to check property details? And one that tells you if the property is freehold?

council records section

doesnt specifically say it but the leasehold section i know about shows the legal description as being a flat, and the Valuation Number as having a B on the end of it, the other property as an A on theirs. i believe this indicates leasehold as they would have their own valuation if it were its own title

Yeh I know where to look now under legal description. Thank you

Do you think it works only in Auckland or it also shows in other cities in NZ ?
