We have a Sheffield cordless window cleaner, however the charger for it has vanished.

Will one of these type of units do the job to charge this thing ?

I wouldnt because its asking for 3.6v so is probably straight onto the cell perhaps by a protection circuit, but I doubt there is anything in there to control the current. Endemic on cheap aliexpress crap so if you can find a charger for something from there with a single cell it should be fine on this.

edit: Ok, read more and it lists 5v as well. So yeah must have some current limiting and control inside it. I would probably just get a USB to barrel jack cable instead of an overpriced jaycar adapter to run it off a spare phone charger.
