Hi all, I've searched the forums and have found a few posts on colorsteel vs some others brands but none about KiwiColour by Kiwi Steel. We've had a quote to replace the long run roofing on our house and its come in lower than I'd expected and I'm wondering if its because they use this brand and not the better known colorsteel. I've looked at their website and its a prepainted, hot dipped alu zinc imported steel so appears to be the same as other products out there.

Has anyone had any experience of this or any questions I should ask of it?

Thanks

Imported you say?

Where from?

Any place with a record of falsifying test results?

We had our roof done two years ago.

Of the three that quoted the job we went with the guy that offered us the thicker coloursteel (o.55), he also offered another product that might be kiwisteel, it was way cheaper but he said it would last half to a quarter as long.

we went with the better thicker product for longevity.

I think kiwicolour is from South Korea. My roofer didn't suggest any major difference in cost or quality, but we ended up with colorsteel, I think due to availability at the time
