Hi Geekers,

Looking for tips from anyone that has successfully installed a ring doorbell elite into weatherboard? I've seen posts on other forums about aftermarket wedgekits overseas available but wanted to know from someone who actually has done it successfully here in NZ.

I have the PoE connection in place already.

Thanks

Weatherboard wedges are a thing. Just cut one of these down to suit:

Thanks for this. I want to try avoid cutting a hole in to the weather board if I can avoid it, as Im afraid it might cause weather tightness issues. Has anyone installed the ring elite on a surface mounted custom made box?

Where does this appear if you don't want to drill into the weatherboard?

I find this outdoor rated mounting tape is the best of the best.

signwritters best friend…(was recommended it by a reputable signwritter)

It is very strong if you prepare the surface properly…
