My Unotelly trial is nearly up and I need to decide which plan to buy. There seem to be two, Premium (UnoDNS) @3.94/mth, and Gold (UnoDNS+UnoVPN) @4.93/mth. I presume those are in $US.
Currently I am just using Netflix, but would also like to try the UK offerings from BBC and ITV.

For what reason or benefit would you chose the Gold plan over the Premium?

I have the cheaper option (no VPN) and I've had no trouble with BBC etc. I understand if you found you did need a VPN you can always change your subscription at that time.

If you have a look on their "Channels" page, it shows all the services they unblock. Unless you want one that's not listed, then you probably don't need a VPN. I'm getting US Netflix and Hulu, UK BBC and Channel 4 plus a range of Australian free to air on demand - you just need to tweak the settings in the control panel page to select which ones you want.

And as stated above, you can always upgrade if you suddenly need VPN as well.

I'm curious, can you just have the VPN on one device, or does it have to be through your router? And can you turn it on and off at will?

Cool, thanks for the info.

I signed up for the annual plan. I think they might still be offering a Geekzone discount? From memory it cost me less than $50 for the whole year for the plan without VPN, which I thought was really great value. The one time I used their support team, they were really fast to reply and helpful, too.
