I aim to misbehave.
DS9: Now just need an LG app and I will be happy. Though I and many others asked through Facebook for the TV section to be cleaned up and they have done that so a thanks goes out for that.

Well spotted. That's much better now.
I also notice they have added a sci fi category to the movies section, something that was missing when they launched. Nt sure how long that has been there but I only just noticed it. Some classic sci fi movies in there. Might have a sci fi marathon tonight seeing as the wife is going out. :)

myopinion: Yes the pay per play is cheaper than iTunes but the quality of the image is poor comparatively. Some of the movies are not even 1GB in size. Quickflix don't appear to have any/much HD offering either?

NonprayingMantis: I also noticed they have a bunch of new pay per view movies that didn't show up in the 'just added' section. Looks like a load of disney stuff for about $5 per movie. That's pretty good, but a shame it isn't in the subscription section. I guess disney dictate the terms, and they are quite restrictive about how they sell content i.e. 'the disney Vault'
NonprayingMantis:
Ricky Gervais made "28 times" more money selling his new show than on The Office.
He believes video-on-demand broadcaster Netflix is the future of television.

QuickFlix keep getting better, however I would still say they are about 12 to 18 months, if the keep expanding at the current rate, away from me wanting to pay the subscription.

This is one of those great cases where I agree with the conclusion but fail to see the cause and effect. Yes, streaming services are the future of TV for a pile of good reasons. But Gervais made '28 times' more money because when he wrote The Office, which I love, he was a complete unknown, as a well established writer of course he was going to make more money with the 'second album'.
