I'm with getflix and I can't get any USA content to play. Might be time to quit Netflix.
dclegg: What annoys me the most about this is how Unotelly have handled it. There's been complete radio silence from them. I even opened up a support ticket last week, and all I got was a canned response saying "We're busy, but we'll get to you soon. In the meantime try switching to our various test regions".
I went into this fully knowing things could break at some point, but if you're a paying customer of a service like this, you at least expect communication letting you know what the state of play is. I have no idea whether they'll ever get things working again, or if this is a permanent outage on their side.
timbosan: Almost exactly the same with Unblock US - I raised a ticket and get the "we are busier than normal" response. Yeah, not surprised when your service doesn't work!
I completely understand that silence is frustrating but the thing you have to bear in mind is that at the end of the day, aside from you not being personally known to any of the Unotelly/Unblock US staff, they have no way of knowing who you're affiliated with and where any communications between the two of you may end up. It's nothing personal, it's more than likely just them protecting themselves from legal action.
Can anyone who uses a VPN to access global Netflix answer the question of whether they blocking access to VPN users? Is a VPN the answer to having global unrestricted access?
Can anyone share their experiences of VPNs? Assume you just "change region" on some sort of dashboard or options centre within the VPN application?

For two months Getflix hasn't skipped a beat when accessing US content.
I have read that Netflix staggers the changes across their user base so it may be that we simply haven't been hit with the latest countermeasures. However, the first change earlier in the year did catch us so we had to wait days for Getflix to adapt.

No some VPNs are also affected. Mine was fine until recently, Netflix definitely stepping up their efforts.

Just tried with my vpn (private tunnel) , which I don't normally use for netfix I use dns4me, and netflix spotted it straight off.
i would say that we are likely to see this game continue for a while.
most providers are finding ways round it to be blocked again a few weeks later. most providers seem to be focusing on US content access but to be honest Canada and some European offer great selections.. if NZ/AUS catalogue would be improved it might save Netflix and the providers a huge amount of headaches and "game" time.
We are just piggy in the middle and if one thing works, it soon wont, but then it will again.
Sit back, ride the frustration and try the work arounds. if it doesn't work today it probably will tomorrow, then it wont again..then it will again..

This is the first time I've been hit with with the proxy message from Netflix, I didn't get hit earlier in the year.
I think I'll wait a month to see if this can be resolved and if not I'll just cancel Netflix and revert more to Sonarr and Couchpotato.

Getflix stopped working for UK content a few days ago but US was still working; now US has gone too. TEST server doesn't seem to make a difference
FYI UnoDNS updated their site a couple of days ago, they now also offer the odd sounding "USA Test 4" and "USA Test 5" DNS servers to work with the new Netflix checks. I think they also said they or the user would have to keep updating every couple of weeks (IRC).
Tested it last night and it was working again as USA Netflix (but I guess specifically choosing regions is no longer possible).
