3puttssuck:

PhantomNVD: Who do you access them through... Please tell me not Hola as perhaps someone else now has your login details as a man-in-the-middle attack is apparently easy on that platform?

I use Unblock-us & dns4me.

FYI: Unblock-us is switching their payment processor, so at the moment you can't pay for it (I couldn't reactivate my account because there's no way to pay for it).

@3puttssuck: I'm currently using unlocator.com's beta DNS and it's been working great (and costs about the same - $4.95 p/m).

Hey guys.

So which DNS server or VPN is working for you to access the US catalogue? I'm currently using Hotspot Shield as a VPN but it doesn't work.

Cheers

As I mentioned in the post above yours, I'm using unlocator.com's beta DNS and it works great.

Does Unotelly still work?

My sub just expired and I'm not sure if I should renew or not.

I don't know - I am using a different service since Hulu stopped working on UnoTelly.

Thanks. Just signed up for the Unlocator free trial and it works great. It costs $5US per month though. I might try DNS4ME after my trial is finished as it is only $4.30NZ per month

Freitas, i'm Unotelly, Netflix won't start on FireTV, but Hulu, Prime work great.

Netflix, Hulu and Prime works on PC/Mac with no issues. do you have similar issues?

I moved to a different service when Hulu started showing the geo-restriction message on Amazon Fire TV. Netflix was working but it was a goose chase, changing the DNS region all the time to US Test 1 - 5.

The UnoTelly service was really good but my guess is they were a very big target...

It appears that Netflix no longer works on Apple TV4 with dns manually set on the device only. (I've tried Unotelly, Getflix and dns4me).
I think the latest version 1.1.0 dated 31st March is the issue.
Is anyone successfully accessing Netflix via router on ATV4? If so, could you please share your setup?

Thanks

I've had no issues (knock on wood) with Hulu via Unotelly on my ATV4. I'm subscribed up until next January, so I'm going to stick with them as long as I can. I think one take-away from all of this is not to sign up to long unblocking subscriptions! It might be cheaper, but per month is probably more sensible in case whoever you're using gets taken down.

Netflix shares are plummeting, along with new subscribers. Maybe they should quit attacking the paying customers they have.

I doubt the unblocked numbers are a big factor. A portion of these will continue to pay, they will pay once now as they already do, and use one Netflix not two or more. Amazon is going after Netflix, Hulu is cheaper. But aside from that they are all fragmenting themselves. They target using fully exclusive titles. Netflix especially. So either we have to buy all of them or we forego some. Would not surprise me if they cartelled themselves. Maybe some may merge. Competition
