We are trying to watch Netflix streaming through Apple TV ver.3 on our Samsung Series 5 46" tv set.

Everynight we sit down, turn everything to connect to Netflix and wait. We get the spinning snail on Netflix for a while till it comes up with "Who's watching". All good, then we select the program we want to watch, last night it was "The Good Wife".

Press "play" on the correct episode, spinning snail for a long time until "This content cannot be streamed instantly, try again later". Try another episode, same thing. try another program, same thing.

Ok so now I restart the Apple TV. Then it comes up showing only two icons,"computers" and "settings". I go into settings and reconnect "IP settings" automatically, then manually change DNS settings for Unblock us. Now it shows all the icons including Netflix. Click on Netlflix and it now plays the program.

This wouldn't be so tiresome if I didn't have to do it every night, sometimes two or three times. I need to reset the Apple TV every night, including DNS settings. Is this normal? It drives my non technical wife insane.

Other necessary info:

Vodafone VDSL unlimited data plan, Unblock us. Wifi signal strong and constant (as far as I can tell from my Android app Wifi Analiser)

Our house is not yet cabled for ethernet (its a very difficult one to wire), in fact I had an electrician here to do the job but he decided it was nearly impossible without major reconstruction work.
In the meantime I am using a TP Link 500mps plug in wall socket device to carry the signal by the existing electrical cabling from the Huawei HG 659downstairs to the tv position upstairs.

Sometimes this" pseudo ethernet" will fail and so I will resort to wifi streaming which I know is not ideal, but sometimes it just works better.

I would dearly love to be able to get some more robustness and reliablity into this setup, especially so my wife can watch Netflix without having to deal with connectivity issues. Any thoughts welcome.
